ABOUT US
Helpful Paw was built from a love of animals
We are a small group of people born and raised in the Bay Area. We live and work in the community and provide pet services including but not limited to grooming, vet services, and re-homing, to families and individuals who do not have the means to support them. Helpful Paw also partners with local adoption agencies and other local business to help provide these services at no charge to those who qualify.
We believe that pets can provide a great source of comfort and support to people. We have also seen instances where pets and comfort animals do not receive the necessary care and maintenance when homed with those who cannot financially or physically support them. At times their pets come 2nd to other pressing financial needs or some cases it could be as simple as a physical inability to bathe them or get them to a groomer. It is this realization that we decided to help. As we believe a pets needs should not be put last because of lack of ability to pay or physical constraints.
We operate with three main goals in mind:
1. Help provide services such as Grooming, Food, Vet Care, and other Pet Support
2. Re-homing for,
Elderly people who can now longer have a pet
People who move and can no longer have a pet
People who pass away before their pet.
3. Partner with local adoption agencies providing grooming and other services to better prepare pets for adoption
